I have taken up cooking again after a long absence and I decided to purchase a Cast iron Griddle at a reasonable price and the Molten fitted the bill perfectly.Yes it's heavy but thats what Cast iron is..but cooking with this material is like no other and of course it will last a lifetime when cared for correctly and this Molten is built extremely well,being made from one piece so no fear of any handles dropping off.It also has two pouring lips just in case you were left or right handed and a lip at the back to use both hands for those weaker then most.I tried a 12 oz Sirloin as soon as I got it and it cooked to perfection.I'd highly reccomend this griddle without doubt,but as I mentioned before it IS heavy but well worth the effort.

Delivery was quick, only 3 days & the grillpan was well packaged. The pan itself is exactly what I was looking for, it's made in one solid piece, so no chance of the handle coming loose during use, like my previous one. A really excellent product.

I was looking for a cast iron griller and this fitted the bill perfectly.
Much cheaper than other famous makers and as good quality as.
Steaks are great now. The only warning I would give is that the flat gets smoky when you are using it, but it is well worth the trouble.
I would totally recommend this pan!

Other reviews have complained that the pan is too heavy. Of course it's Heavy. It's made of cast iron for a purpose. I found it is exactly what I expected and wanted. It holds it's heat very well. All you have to do is to get used to the inital and subsequent heat to suit whatever you are cooking. It's a good idea to look at the various expeiences and views on the web in order to formulate your own methods for cooking and cleaning.
